Within the scope of the team building module
included in the curriculum of the "Empowered Media Navigators"
project, the "Marshmallow Challenge" activity was executed.
Participants were requested to create
high-durability tower designs utilizing limited time and material resources.
Through this simulation activity carried out, the participants';
- Decision-making mechanisms under pressure,
- Shared leadership and task distribution processes,
- Rapid prototyping and risk analysis competencies were tested
practically.
At the conclusion of the event, the lessons
derived from the designs that maintained structural integrity and those that
failed were evaluated and analyzed as a metaphor for project management
processes.
