Our "Empowered Media Navigators – Youth
Media Literacy Bootcamp" project, which we have successfully conducted in
Ankara for a week, has concluded with the organized certificate ceremony.
Our participants from Italy, Spain, Romania,
and Turkey have qualified to receive certificates by successfully completing
the intensive training curriculum, field studies, and workshop applications.
At the ceremony, "Youthpass"
certificates with international validity were presented to the participants.
With the competencies they have acquired, our youth will now continue their
activities as "Media Literacy Ambassadors" in their own countries.
We congratulate all our participants and wish
them success in their future endeavors.
Within the social activity module of our
"Empowered Media Navigators" project, interactive art workshops were
organized with the aim of strengthening communication among participants.
In the "Rotational Portrait Drawing"
activity carried out; our participants completed each other's drawings in
15-second periods and experienced the culture of "co-production"
through the collective works that emerged.
In the "Anonymous Feedback" activity
implemented subsequently; our youth reinforced in-group trust and the sense of
belonging by writing their positive thoughts anonymously on the papers on each
other's backs.
